The St. James Collegium Musicum will sing Compline music set by William Byrd, including his Preces and Responses from the Third Service, In manus tuas, and Nunc Dimittis. Music will also feature Rheinberger’s peaceful Abendlied.

THE PRINCIPAL MASS OF THE FEAST OF ST. JAMES THE GREATER
For the Patron of Spain, the Collegium Musicum will sing music by the master of Spanish Renaissance polyphony, Tomas Luis de Victoria. Music will include Victoria’s Missa O quam gloriosum and O lux et decus Hispaniae, as well as Charles Villers Stanford’s glorious Beati quorum via. A wine and cheese reception will follow the Mass in the piazza.
$2 Tickets are available after Sunday Masses leading up to the picnic.
