Faith Formation

The Faith Formation Office is available to parishioners and all those who are either interested in becoming a Christian, or are non-Catholic Christians who are seeking full communion with the Catholic Church.  Our goal is to help educate and guide you in the Catholic faith, by providing you a foundation and a framework by which your intellectual and spiritual faculties may be enlightened and inspired.  Remaining always faithful to the Church’s deposit of faith – Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition, and the Magisterium – this Office will assist you in completing the necessary education toward the completion of a needed sacrament, religious education curriculum, or intermediate to advanced biblical, catechetical, theological or philosophical studies.

Although the intellectual formation of the individual is the prime focus of the Faith Formation Office, it never ceases to remain Christo-centric in its methodologies, and above all else, it tirelessly reminds all participants to “Rejoice always, pray constantly, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” (1 Thess 5:16-18)

We invite you to join us, as either a participant or a facilitator, in the many programs available throughout the year.  May God continue to bless you and your family!

In Christ through Mary,

Mr. Andrew M. Steele, STL cand.

Pastoral Assistant for Faith Formation

In the lower parish hall we have a selection of Catholic books that can be borrowed.  Simply use the check out sheet that is on the clipboard.  The books are organized according to themes, such as Bible study aids, Christ, Catholicism, Sacraments, Mary, Saints, and Christian living.

There are also a number of media options to check out: we have videos, DVDs, and audio CDs.  We also have Catholic pamphlets, magazines, and holy cards for you to take free of charge.  Making use of our library is a great way to keep growing in your knowledge of the faith.  If you have any books or media to donate to our library please contact the parish office.
